We have created this website as a repository for data on those Kenyans who have put themselves forward as candidates for the next election. We have also put up provisions for articles on the organs and offices that will be vital in the conduct of a peaceful and successful election. We hope that it will become a tool and a point of reference for all those seeking to make an informed decision prior to making their decision on who to vote for.

The site works in a way that allows all users to edit its content, much in the style of wikipedia. We ask that users are responsible and that they try to be as factual as possible, providing backing from news sources for all the charges against and commendations for that they make.

Some pages are locked to guard against vandalism although all the links (sub-topics) are open for editing even if the main articles are not. Everything on these pages is supposed to be based on fact, not opinion. We are aware however that there are many 'facts' that are contentious and so we will have discussions in the comments' space after each article, and hopefully come to a an agreed compromise again in the same fashion as is customary at wikipedia.
